About Us

Hello! My name is Mary Ann and I have been weaving since 2007. I took some classes at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts and instantly fell in love with everything weaving and fiber. In 2018 I added a 3D printer to my studio, mainly so my husband could print me loom parts. But now I'm fully converted over to the fun of printing!

I love taking a strand of yarn and turning it into an intricate piece of cloth and I love taking a string of plastic and turning it into something new. Really all of my favorite hobbies include creating simple things, the most difficult way possible. Spending hours at home making soap instead of just going to the store? Yes please! Churning butter at home when there's a whole aisle of butter at the store? Sure thing! Do a several hour print to make a cup? Why not? Spend a day counting hundreds of thread to weave a hand towel? Heck yes! I love knowing the whole process of everything I make. Each item I make is carefully and lovingly made.
